Our small batch of red wine is a combination of marquette grapes, a grandchild of pinot noir, and petit pearl. The grapes were aged 6 months in stainless steel tanks, resulting in a dazzling young red with medium-body and moderate acidity. She’s well-structured with velvety tannins and rich flavours.
Tasting Notes – Cranberry, raspberry and cherry, followed by a lingering spice finish. Light to medium bodied with aromas of sandalwood, vanilla, clove and cherry. She’s gorgeous.
Varietals – 70% marquette and 30% petit pearl
Pairings – Gets along well with lamb, roast duck, or our favourite; a tomahawk steak
