Get ready for an unforgettable evening set al fresco amidst our vineyard estate as Chef Danny Smiles and Mitch Laughren, along with their team from Le Violon, prepare a gastronomic feast using local and seasonal ingredients.

In addition to enjoying a wonderful evening of exceptional cuisine and breathtaking scenery, you will also be supporting a great cause. This year’s event is a charity fundraiser benefiting the Fondation du Centre jeunesse de la Montérégie.

ABOUT THE CHEF:
Danny Smiles is known for his culinary excellence at The Bremner, his second-place finish on Top Chef Canada, and appearances in Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip and Iron Chef Canada. Danny’s style highlights Mediterranean and Italian dishes, honoring his family roots. With the recent opening of his highly anticipated restaurant, Le Violon, Danny and his team promise an unforgettable culinary experience amidst our vineyard’s serene beauty.

ABOUT THE FOUNDATION:
“La Fondation du Centre jeunesse de la Montérégie” mission is to improve the quality of life of children followed by the Director of Youth Protection (DYP) by helping them build a better present and future through education, access to employment, health and a positive social life.

FAQ

What should I wear?

In true farm to vine fashion, we invite you to wear your Sunday best + your favorite hat. Ladies heels are not recommended as the mixed terrain at the vineyard can be challenging in heels. Come prepared for the weather;  sunscreen and a sweater is recommended.

What happens if it rains?

The event will happen rain or shine. If it rains we will move the event inside.

What is the cancellation policy?

Places are limited. Once you reserve no refunds will be given, however you are welcome to transfer your reservation to someone else. Please email us at reservations@chateausteagnes.com if you wish to transfer your reservation to a friend. 

Do you have any dietary restrictions?

Please note that our meals are served family-style. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free options.  Please advise us of any dietary restrictions when booking in the notes or in advance by email at reservations@chateausteagnes.com. We unfortunately will not be able to accommodate any dietary requests that are made 10 days prior to the event. 

Should I drive?

Our meals are paired with wine, so we recommend you bring a designated driver. It’s important to make the necessary arrangements ahead of time as we are located in a rural area. There are also accommodations in the nearby town of Sutton and a limited amount of accomodations available onsite. For those who do drive we have parking onsite.
